The Buffalo Geological Society Meeting on April 3 at 7:30pm will feature Fred Haynes talking about the Minerals and Geology at the Selek Road Site. Held at Parkside Lutheran Church at Depew and Wallace Streets in Buffalo. Use side entrance.

Sign-Up for the Buffalo Geological Banquet which is May 1 at Salvatore’s at 6461 Transit Rd. in Depew. Again the cost for MEMBERS is $15 and the club is subsidizing the rest of the cost of the meal. Dr. Rick Batt is this year’s speaker and will speak on Australia and New Zealand – Down Under Geology which should be both picturesque and informative. Again this year, bring a prize (rock, fossil, wine, etc).

The Buffalo Geological Gem, Mineral and Fossil Show was March 21-22 at the Hamburg Fairgrounds. Kudos to Steve and Trish Birtz who tireless efforts again made the show a success as well as other club members who worked. Here are some photos from the show with members.
